BMR Genomics was founded in 2004 as a spin-off of the University of Padua for the creation and provision of related services DNA sequencing. In 2008 BMR Genomics won the best Italian start-up award.
The company provides DNA analysis services, in particular sequencing. The company's main objective is to offer its customers very high quality services, created thanks to high profile scientific expertise present in the internal laboratories and continuously improved on the basis of new developments in research and technology in the fields of genomics, genetics, molecular biology, information technology and bioinformatics.
BMR Genomics' research activities pertain to a field of diagnostics, which in recent years has seen a positive growth trend thanks to the need to improve the quality of life of humans and the impact that the prediction of certain pathologies can have on health.
