Platform Structure

The platform provides a hierarchical structure where the outermost 'container' is the CASE, i.e. the subject / patient who will be subjected to the various analyses. The ANALYSES therefore constitute the lower level as each case can 'contain' multiple analyses, each of which in turn will include different COMPONENTS. The components are usually linked to a specific product, both physical (e.g. Microbioma Italiano EVO) and virtual (e.g. upgrade from BASIC to EVO).

The figure and the following example will allow you to understand the above structure in a simpler and more direct way.

Professional - Giuseppe Bianchi

  1. CASE 1 - Mario Rossi

    1. Analysis 1
      Intestinal Microbiota July

      1. Component 1
        BASIC Microbioma Italiano
      2. Component 2
        Upgrade to EVO
    2. Analysis 2
      Intestinal Microbiota September

      1. Component 1
        Microbioma Italiano EVO
      2. Component 2
        Replacement Kit
  2. CASE 2 - Alice Verdi

    1. Analysis 1
      Intestinal Microbiota November

      1. Component 1
        Microbioma Italiano EVO
    2. Analysis 2
      Genetic test for intolerances

      1. Component 1
        ChrySalus Nutrition

Mr Mario Rossi is managed by the professional Giuseppe Bianchi via the SalusNet platform. The professional will create the specific case, to which he will assign a name (in this case the patient's first name and last name). For Mr. Mario Rossi, therefore, Giuseppe Bianchi will order the BASIC Microbioma Italiano Analysis, which he will call "Intestinal Microbiota July". This step will automatically create the analysis called "Intestinal Microbiota July" which will contain the BASIC Microbioma Italiano component. Therefore analysis and component will be created simultaneously without any waste of time on the part of the professional. Once the result of the analysis has been obtained, the professional can request the upgrade of the report from BASIC to EVO, thus creating a further component within the same analysis. The same can happen in the Analysis 2 "Intestinal Microbiota September", if it is necessary to repeat the sampling. Although the analysis of the microbiota has been described, other types of analysis, such as the ChrySalus genetic tests, exploit the same structure (Alice Verdi case).
